The Chelmsford Damask offers a subtle, reversible pattern introduced to the M. Perkins range in the 1920s. Inspired by the work of Geoffrey Webb, a leading figure in early 20th-century ecclesiastical design, this fabric provides quiet elegance for a wide range of sacred uses. With its small-scale, turnover design, Chelmsford is especially suitable for detailed projects such as stoles, burse and veil sets, orphreys, or as a subtle panel on larger vestments. The reversible weave adds versatility, allowing different visual effects to be achieved depending on how the fabric is oriented. Woven with a silk blend for a soft sheen and fine hand, Chelmsford is ideal for those seeking an understated yet historically grounded option for both everyday and solemn liturgical occasions.

Chelmsford Damask is available in Ivory, Red, Green, Blue and Violet.
