Pattern repeat: The pattern repeats every 6½" (17cm) along the length (warp), and 8 times across the width (weft) every 7" (17.5cm), with the center falling in the middle of the thistle motif

The Cloister Brocade is an economical and versatile fabric available in seven liturgical colors; White, Red, a rather dark Rose, Roman Purple, Violet, Green, and a strong Gold.

It has a very nice, all-over, small-repeat design, with a pattern that is more defined than the St. Aiden. Cloister’s woven brocade motif is a combination of the English Rose and Scottish Thistle. The reversible pattern dates to 1900 and was particularly popular at that time.
