Fr. Eduard Perrone
Ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit in 1978, he is pastor of Assumption Grotto Church in Detroit, a parish which contains an outdoor grotto of our Lady of Lourdes. Father Perrone has a degree in music composition, and a master's degree in Theology. He is considered a world-class pianist and expert on sacred music. Besides his pastoral work, he often gives talks to special groups and directs the parish choir in some of the great choral and orchestral Masses of the Church's heritage. He is a founder and spiritual director of Call to Holiness, Inc., the Saint Joseph Secular Discalced Carmelite Community and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Carmelite Community, in Detroit. He has been pastor of the Assumption Grotto Church since 1994.
