The Florence Brocade is a late Victorian design with a distinctive heavy-weft effect, giving it a tactile presence and a lace-like appearance. Designed by William Perkins, it was inspired by Italian lacework and decorative arts, resulting in a fabric that feels both delicate and substantial.

Florence works beautifully for vestments, banners, and altar hangings where a softer, more romantic texture is desired. Its deeper weave adds body and movement, while the repeating pattern keeps it visually grounded. This fabric offers a liturgical richness without overwhelming the eye.

Florence is available in a wide array of liturgical colors, including Bridal White, Ivory, Deep Cream, Rose, Green, Violet, and Red, making it one of the more versatile and expressive brocades in the collection. The three shades of white makes Florence one of the few options for creating vestments with tone on tone.
