This Byzantine style censer (thurible) is ornamented with twelve bells, symbolic of the Twelve Apostles. As the bells sound forth, they call the faithful to prayer. As the incense rises from the sanctuary, our prayers rise to the House of God and the Gate of Heaven.
Our ornate censer is beautifully detailed and would make a great addition to any sanctuary. Each was exclusively designed and crafted using only the finest materials for many years of trouble free use.
This censer(thurible) has three outer chains, symbolic of the Holy Trinity, attached to the bowl, and a fourth inner chain, symbolic of Unity of God, attached to the lid.
