The classic St. Margaret Brocade fabric highlights the Tudor Rose and Crown motif, a design of the Tudor period that was an adaptation of very early Christian symbols, and which became increasingly popular in the 15th Century as a result of its adoption by the houses of York and Lancaster. The Tudor symbolism carries forward the tradition of reconciliation and unity, woven into a fabric fit for solemn and celebratory use alike.

Utilizing metallic or contrasting threads, St. Margaret’s array of colorways showcases its bold pattern and luminous weave, giving the fabric enhanced visual richness and depth. The large intricate pattern is especially suited for high feast frontals, vestments, and orphreys. The roses are seven inches in diameter making this a prominent/dominant pattern that is remarkable on large frontals. A particularly wonderful combination is to use the damask St Margaret pattern for the base fabric and a row of roses in the brocade weave for the super frontal and orphrey pillars. Adding companion vestments is stunning.

The wide variety of color options include: White, White/Gold, Ivory/Lurex, Red, Red/Gold, Green, Green/Gold, Violet, Black, Black/Gold, Blue, Blue/Gold, and Blue/Silver.
