Customer Reviews
-- Upon receiving the “Blessed Be God” prayer book, I immediately fell in love with it. It is a great book. It is not a giant prayer book with devotions and readings and meditations for every day of the year, but simply, it packs meaningful prayers, novenas, and vespers, (Not to mention loads of devotions, litanies, and Latin-to-English masses!) in just over 700 pages! A normal prayer book would take over 1,000 or more pages to do that. If you want a prayer book that has lots of traditional prayers, but is not giant and weighs 50 pounds, this is the book for you. The best part is its size. Even with over 300 prayers, it would still be considered a pocket prayer book. With gold laced pages and cover, beautiful illustrations, and a silk ribbon, it is a small but powerful, beautiful prayer book. No Catholic’s library would be complete without this book. Only con: the book is hard to keep open when reading, but hey! This is still a great, compact prayer book. A must have.

-- For traditional Roman Catholics, this is simply the best prayer book in English. The language throughout the book is in the Douay-Rheims style of traditional English. All of the prayers are written for the sake glorifying God through beautiful prosaic and poetic prayers and devotions. In addition, this is one of the most comprehensive prayer books you can find including the Order of the Mass (in English and Latin) as well as prayers and devotions for all occasions. I can't recommend this prayer book enough.

This prayer book is excellent. It was pretty much everything I was looking for in a everyday use prayer book. I highly recommend.
