This linen weave polyester provides a balance between the need for an economical fabric, and a requirement that it has appropriate beauty and dignity. Manufactured with the liturgical sewing community in mind, this is the same fabric that Elizabeth Morgan offered for over 30 years. She called it her workhorse fabric because it drapes well, sews well, and has a nice crisp feel to it with a slight linen texture. With a full line of liturgical colors, it is suitable for vestments, paraments, choir robes, and Baptismal mantellettas. It is an excellent choice for your first set of vestments, or when budget is a consideration. This fabric pairs beautifully with more expensive damasks, brocades and tapestries so that inexpensive vestments are still wonderfully handsome. It also takes machine embroidery very well. Available colors are White, Ivory, Black, Gold, Olive Green, Emerald Green, Blue, Red, Dark Red, Violet, Roman Purple, and a true liturgical Rose.
