The Venezia Brocade is a simplified version of a classic Venetian design (initially a Coronation pattern), woven with a single warp and more economical yarns. Its origins lie in the grand patterns of 15th-century Venetian tapestries, reworked in a lightweight brocade that stitches up into beautiful but comfortable vestments. The addition of gold metallic thread gives the fabric a luminous effect. The multi-colored colorway is especially useful for orphreys.
Venezia is available in three colorways including Gold/White, Gold/Gold, and Multi-Colored, and is well-suited for altar frontals, dossals, and vestments and their orphreys.
