Saint Antoine Daniel ( d. 4 July 1648) was one of the Eight Jesuit Martyrs of North America. He taught the Huron children simple rhymes, in their language, as a brilliant tool of evangelization. He was a colleague of Saint Jean de Brebeuf, who became a Martyr for Jesus Christ about nine months after Father Daniel.
